Are Elizabeth Benotti Handmade Ceramics (food/dishwasher/microwave) safe? How do I clean my pieces?
Unless noted, all EBHC pieces are food, dishwasher and microwave safe. Feel free to use and enjoy your pieces every day!
For cleaning, hand-washing is best to preserve the quality.
Can I place an order as a gift?
Of course! These pieces are meant to be shared with loved ones. Simply add a note to your order if EBHC is shipping it directly to the recipient so that it can be packaged appropriately without a receipt.
How does shipping work?
All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. You’ll have the option to choose your preference when placing your order. Shipping and handling charges do vary based on the items purchased.
When will my order arrive? Can I expedite production and shipping?
As all EBHC pieces are handmade, it may take two to four weeks for your items to ship. If the item is ready to ship, it will take 1-3 days to leave the studio. You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is on its way to your doorstep. If you need your items sooner, please request a quote here.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, glad you asked! There are a few specifics involved. For international orders, customers are responsible for all import duties and customs fees within their own country. EBHC cannot identify how long any order will take to arrive once it reaches customs in your specific country.
As with domestic orders, please allow two to four weeks for your items to ship unless it's noted as ready to ship.
What is your return policy?
EBHC offers merchandise exchanges within seven days of customers receiving items. Upon returning, you can select credit or the option to exchange the item for an item of equal value, excluding all shipping costs.
How do I submit a return?
All you have to do is return the item(s) in the same condition you received it in (without wear ordamage) along with the packaging slip and in its original packaging.

All customers are responsible for the shipping and handling costs of their purchases and exchanges; these charges are non-refundable.
When shipping your item back, please package the item very carefully and use a delivery confirmation to track your package. EBHC is not responsible for lost or damaged exchanges.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Simply send a photo to elizabeth.benotti (at) gmail.com within three days of receiving the item and we will gladly provide a replacement or refund.
